Two Penn Plaza Bollards // New York, NY

In collaboration with Vornado Realty Trust, Land Morphology designed a series of artful bollards that provide safety for Penn Station and the pedestrian entry to Two Penn Plaza. The forms are designed to be dynamic, prevent sitting on and add positively to the entry experience of the building and Penn Station, while limited vehicular access. It was essential that these bollards not feel unfriendly, but appear as pieces of art and elevate this iconographic property in mid-town Manhattan.
