rockefeller center channel gardens // New york, Ny
In 2017-2018, Land Morphology designed the seasonal display gardens for the Channel Gardens at Rockefeller Center. Eight display gardens were created over a one-year period to celebrate the seasons and highlight the special celebrations that take place in and around this American cultural icon. Some of the themes included Cotton Candy, Dino Food, Rays of September, and Effervescence. The outcome demonstrates how planting design can shape a place and result in people stopping to linger and enjoy a space.
