InSitu V-Sculpture // Redding, CT

The V-Sculpture is two interlocking "V" forms. The base or pedestal "V" rises from the earth and points to the sky. It leans forward toward the residence and the view from the dining and lounging terraces. The upper "V" hangs from the lower form and is kinetic, swinging back and forth. A metal trough or gash in the earth received the lower point of the hanging "V," which extends below the ground level. Night lighting creates a beautiful effect for this focal point in the landscape.
