Nestled into the site's steep hillside is an outdoor dining room, a lounge area complete with an arbor & water garden, and a lower terrace offering a fire feature. The plants at the front of the house are informal and based on the cottage style of the Arts and Crafts movement. Landscape colors are tangerine and blues to compliment the cream color of the residence and the owner's taste. A lower pond is accessed by stairs through a woodland garden. The traditional elements of this garden compliment the shake-style residence and fit well into the historic Hill Top region of Bronxville, New York.
